The building now known as The Lafayette Condominiums was built in 1928 and originally used as a switching station and offices. While it was acquired in 1985 to be used as condominiums, the developers honored the original Art Deco design throughout the building. The condominium association was looking for a new logo that bridged the buildings historic past with the modern age while also highlighting the new addition of the Roof Deck Club.
